It is the need of the hour to segregate the various tools present and utilize them for good. It is extremely important that people have a knowledge on what interactive media to be used for learning. Youtube, PowerPoint, Google Search, Quora, Linked in, Google docs and drive, WordPress, Slack, Zoom are some of the tools that can be used for learning.

Technology, in one form or another, has always been part of the teaching and learning environment. This has become a part of the teacher’s professional toolbox.

Technology has changed dramatically over recent decades. The increasing variety and accessibility of technology has expanded the toolbox and the opportunities teachers have. Computer devices are more powerful and come in different forms; from those that sit on our desks to those that sit in the palm of our hands. The internet connects these devices and also the students to each other in the classroom, through the school and around the world.

Learning with technology has become essential in today’s schools. Worldwide, governments, education systems, researchers, school leaders, teachers and parents consider technology to be a critical part of a child’s education. In the current global trend, it is acknowledged that, advances in technology have an influence on the way people create, share, use and develop information in society. Young people need to be highly skilled in their use of information and communication technologies (ICT).
